Ok, ok, already! We've left Iowa to more of the same in Illinois. Lots of corn and soybeans. But everything is green and, as long as we stay in the air-conditioned RV, comfortable. Everyday for a week has been in the 90's. Less humid today and very welcome.
Goodbyes to the Sabula "F" dock river rats and we were ready to go. Oops, the entry step sounded like it was eating it's gears. Dean got to spend a couple hours under the RV playing with the greasy pieces of the articulated step. All put back together and working well. My hero!
Being passed by motorcycles again. These riders are all wearing Sturgis shirts and are trucking back home after the rally at Sturgis.
Easy sunny drive to East Peoria. We are camped along the Illinois River (called Lake Peoria here).
