The Good Life at Good Life

Winter finally got here.  Temperatures dropped 10-20 degrees day and night.  Our colds hung on through most of February.  Tried to get the germy guy to move out but that didn't work.  Most days were sunny and nice but the daytime temperatures were a bit below normal.

When Dean was feeling up to it he worked at the railroad.  We enjoyed the nighttime run of the Garden Railway.  One train even pulled 31 cars.

Laurie worked on coloring (really!) to share with friend Kay, wood burning projects and a little painting with wine! (the wine was great).

For the first time since heart bypass in 1988 Dean was able to give blood.
They loved getting A-Negative blood.  And he was very happy to provide!

We lucked out living in an RV when the wiring burnt at the power transformer feeding the park and everything and everybody was out of power for 36 hours.  We made out just fine with LP and generator and inverter.  We were heroes for charging cell phones for neighbors.

We partook in lots of wining and dining and fun activities.  Below are a few pix from some of them: Murder mystery, Irish Dancers, 3 Men and a Tenor, Valentine Brunch, Mardi Gras, Dancing with the Stars, Resident variety show singing Broadway hits.

The Murder Suspects

Just like Dancing with the Stars - there was an interview with the dancers before

Some of the dancers really got into it.  This resident dancer is Captain Kirk

Pro dancers and resident dancers - Great job!
