115 miles traveled in October! Google said we went to Costco twice, the eye doctor, and visited someone special in Marysville. You betcha.
Got the gardens prepped for winter. Laurie did some garden lopping and Dean kept busy chopping. One cold week took care of leaves on deciduous plants: raking.
We finally braved a trip to Marysville to meet Great Grandson #2. We were equipped with KN95 masks. Beautiful day to travel by road and by ferry.
We were greeted by Ashleigh and Josh and their big boy, Kolden. Wow! How much he has grown. Really miss seeing that growth spurt
And we met the new little kiddo, Kashton William. He didn't say much but enjoyed being doted on by his folks and his big brother. That is such a sweet family. Hope for more family time next year.

Weaned our squirrels and birds from feed at our house. Neighbors promise they won't starve!
Of course, we got our MAIL-IN ballots in early after being warned by the President. Really wanted to be sure they were counted at least once this election.
Rest of the month we spent getting the RV loaded for a winter trip - cannot believe how long it takes us. Makes us wonder if we should just stay on the road and not have to do the packing and unpacking....probably not.
