We had great hosts to show us around the Cave Creek and Scottsdale areas.
Diverse activities included checking out Frank Lloyd Wright's winter home Talisan West, examining some weird cast windchimes at Cosanti, and traipsing through the cowboy country of old downtown Scottsdale and the current cowboy country of Cave Creek. Interspersed with all that was checking out restaurants to keep our energy level up!
We got a kick out of hiking around a fun shop called The Town Dump in Cave Creek. So much stuff we just hardly could live without from tanned leather to Mexican pottery to many fun figures welded from old car parts. Earrings on these figures were keys on chains!
