Formerly a tourist attraction but now a state park
where the state cares for injured manatees and displays Florida wildlife.
There was a very nice quiet boat trip up a stream to the animal area.
Luckily, no nest of snakes hanging over our head.
Explain the hippo and the texas mountain lion representing a Florida panther!
Special treat was seeing GeGe the 2 headed turtle.
He's/They're 14 years old.
Glad they are good friends.
