Bremerton is located where only 92% of the sun would be covered. Our weatherman said we should expect to see the light as dusk. No way. Guess he hadn't experienced a solar eclipse before. Now he's ready for the next one.

Back in "the day" when we were kids we used doubled up film negatives to stare up at the eclipse. Now everybody in the country that could get solar glasses had them. No more burnt irises.

What we did notice was a temperature cooling at full eclipse. Maybe 5 degrees.
