Salmon Bake on Anderson Island

While mooring at Oro Bay on Anderson Island in South Sound, we timed it perfectly to attend the annual Salmon Bake put on by the Anderson Island Historical Society at the old Johnson Farm.
There was great food and the whole shindig was very well organized and had efficient and experienced volunteers.
The museum and gift shop were open, there was a string band playing on the porch of the old farm house, a quilt display and small car show.
We also enjoyed walking through the island's pea patch garden.
