We stayed two nights here at Port au Choix (Port of Choice), at an RV park run by the Lions in a great location right on the water. What a view! For the second day in a row, we ran across a sailboat with Oregon registration sitting at the town dock. There are very few recreational boats around. Turns out the folks aboard are Newfoundlanders, but used to live in Oregon, and kept their boat in Seattle. They were circumnavigating the island.

Nearby were the towns of Port Saunders (lots of very large commercial fishing boats) and the town of Torrent Falls where we hiked a boardwalk trail. Saw muddy moose hoofprints on the boards in several places, but no moose.
