Today (Thursday, 9/13) the 70-90kph winds are here with a vengence. The ferry is still tied up at the dock and is listing ten degrees as the wind pushes it against it.
An unmoving RV lined up at the dump station had his awning blow loose.
And since we had trouble standing or walking outside, we decided that driving the RV-towcar combination 80 miles wouldn't be fun, and the darned trip is supposed to be fun.
So we're sitting here another night, and will reevaluate conditions tomorrow morning.
Of course, we did go out and take a few storm pictures!
