We did it! Our new RV: 2017 Winnebago VISTA 29VE

After discussing for a couple weeks the pros and cons of a new RV, the one RV that we really liked went down in price and that pretty much clinched the deal for us.

Imagine what a fancy lens will do to make the RV look much bigger than it is
Just a few "turds in the punchbowl**" dealing with the dealer and a few trips along the way.  Standard stuff.

Fridge is meant to hold cold beer only - no ice - ice bucket is on the left of the fridge
But we love the RV which has beaucoup storage, solar panels, an outdoor kitchen and an electric awning.
.
These last two we were sure we would never use.  Ha!  Dean was the first to use the awning where he found out he could sit outside in the rain and stay dry.
.
The outdoor kitchen has a fridge and a sink and we've BBQ'd a few times already.
Who would need an outdoor TV....well we did test it when the weather was good

Transferring 20 years of "important items" from a 6' longer RV has been quite a chore. There has been room for all but is all necessary?  We'll think about that some other time.
.
Right now we consider it a success to not have to move boxes out of the dinette to eat or off the bed at night.
.
**One of the "turds" was finding out that Dean's driver's license had expired.  The dealer wouldn't let him take the RV off the lot!
.
**Another "turd" is the tall guy looking down as he ran into the tailgate kitchen door.  Blood all over and 7 stitches.
Can't keep up with his doctoring!
