Welcome to Washington

This is what greeted us as we entered the state.  Maybe we headed home too early?

What did we miss while spending a winter in the land of sun?  A lot of reading, crafting, TV watching, etc BECAUSE for the time we were gone there was 44.7" of rainfall (with an AVERAGE ANNUAL rainfall of 38", we are way ahead of the game).

Never fear ALL the plants look healthy and did not drown.  Spectacular blooms by the apple blossom clematis greeted us.

Bird feeders are up and have plenty of takers, bird houses have a few lookie-lous, and the squirrels were watching and found the peanuts in their feeder within 12 hours.

AND since we've been home we've seen lots of sunshine and temperatures near 70.

Yep, the Northwest is can be heaven.
