This summer's dry weather was the best in our lives. 90 days with no rain! There is really no reason to complain about a little rain.

In our traveling, we are passing "Water on Roadway" signs and mud slides and trees tipped over by the roots. We were even turned away from one campground which was underwater. There are low gray clouds almost all the time. It is so dark many days, that there isn't enough energy from the sun to recharge our solar garden lights.

The rains returned on October 12th. Where we live, October had 9.7" of rain. November 15.3". And so far December has had 4". That's 29 inches, folks!
Out here on the Washington coast where there are things like "rain forests" there has been a lot more rain! 42+ inches this fall!
