34 years in the Pacific Northwest rain has taken it's toll in the encapsulated wood in the stern of Troob. Captain Dean says it is time to clean out the guck. A nice shipyard and pretty location close to camping in La Conner is the captain's choice.
There was some interesting planning necessary to get the Troob, the RV, and the car all up there since the distaff side is not a captain or RV driver. Not a problem with help from friends.
.
1st: the RV was driven to La Conner and put in storage. 2nd: the car was driven home. 3rd: Troob and the car headed back to La Conner via Edmonds. And so now we are temporary residents of the pretty town of La Conner. When this project is done, somehow all these vehicles/vessels need to get back home. Will worry that later!
Stay tuned for progress reports!
