It's been a long time since we've visited Toppenish. There have been a lot of changes. Though we couldn't find out how many murals have been added since our last visit, we know that 73 is a big number. The city father's have a great idea and have followed through even in this tough economy. And, yes, though we saw a lot of traffic traveling through downtown, many storefronts are vacant. Too bad.
Of course, if there is a reason to stop, there must be a geocache to look for. We only found one today. See the red circle? We wonder: what is a dryer vent doing on the side of a commercial building? Good reason to wonder! Yep, there was a geocache jar hidden inside.
The newer murals seems to have sharper colors. Enjoy!
