Mid-May should be a safe time to plan for a non-rainy day

and a visit to the zoo.

Well, not this year.

So granddaughter Ashleigh and hubby Josh

joined us in exploring the Seattle Aquarium.

         Great day to do this AND the rain did hold off most the day

so we were able to walk

along the Seattle waterfront ..

without an umbrella!
