We didn't have any rain but did get into snow showers over Siskiyou Pass but nothing was sticking on the road. 
As we adjusted our trek to avoid major snow, we also drug our feet to get home when the temps had warmed up there. Hooray! It was 56 degrees. It's a very late spring here as there is little growth on the deciduous plants. Great news, though: we got here in time to see the forsythia in full bloom and daffodils peeking out around the yard.
This leg of our journey was 26 days, 1731 miles. Averaged 67 miles / day. Imagine some (most?) travelers could have made it back in 5 or 6 days. Winter trek statistics: 134 days. 3,766 miles. Avg 28 miles / day. Avg mpg at 10.5.
