Zipping along the freeway, as we approach an exit, we observe the standard blue signs alerting us to the various fuel stations and fast-food restaurants that would be available to us at that exit.

At this one exit, just a few hundred feet beyond the "official" sign, was a private sign with the message:

MA SMITH'S RESTAURANT

GOOD FOOD ---- CLEAN RESTROOMS

232 MILES ---- YOU CAN HOLD IT
